EDICS will be moving
From 1st January 2011, EDICS administation will be moving to new premises close to the centre of Epsom. Our new headquarters will be at Novellus Court, 61 South Street / Epsom / KT18 7PX. The location of clinical services remains unchanged.

| EDICS Services in GP Practices |

EDICS provides support for services which have traditionally been provided in hospital to be moved into the community. Since 2005, the care of over 2000 patients on warfarin has been taken on by the EDICS GP practices. Previously, these patients required over 20,000 appointments at hospital each year.
The care of many patients with diabetes has also been transferred back into the community, enabling over 200 people who would otherwise have had to go to hospital regularly to receive care from their practice nurses and GPs.
Patients can now access ultrasound in four of our GP practices and at Leatherhead community Hospital. MRI and computerised tomography is also available through our community specialist teams. |
