| Where are the EDICS community clinics? |
|
If your case is referred to an EDICS clinic, you will receive an appointment through the post containing details of how to get to the clinic and who to telephone if you have questions.
If your appointment has been made electronically through Choose and Book, you will be contacted by our 24-hour booking team to make you an appointment. They will use the telephone number you gave your GP. If our team are unable to contact you twice, then you will be sent a letter with a suggested appointment.
If you feel this choice is inappropriate please contact us. In order that we can preserve confidentiality, you will need to know your EDICS number (available from your GP practice) or your Choose and Book password (given to you at the time of booking).
All EDICS services are free NHS services.
The clinical staff and their premises are accredited and inspected by the local Primary Care Trust (East Elmbridge and Mid Surrey PCT) or the Health Care Commission and work in conjunction with local hospital specialists. |
